i break out like a son of a ***** while i'm on, so after years of trying to get rid of it i think i finally did. this is what works for me, hopefully it will for you too!

2 showers a day, 1 in the morning and one after the gym at night. in the shower i rub down with a rough lufa pad. no soap, just scrub to get some dead skin off. then i put proactive creme and let it sit on my skin for a couple of minutes. (don't stand under the water). rince it off. when i get out i put a little of the proactive revitalyzing (sp) lotion on. when that dries i apply acnesil lotion.

next i use pantothenic acid. if i'm already broken out i use 7-10 grams a day depending on how bad i am. then i go to 3grams a day to maintain.

i eat as clean as possible. for me the more crap i eat the worse i get.

i go tanning. i always either take a shower right after or i bring oxy pads to whipe down with. don't let your sweat from the bed sit on your skin.

it might sound like a pain in the ass, but its worth it to me. if you do this you need to stay consistent with it. i never wanted accutane cause i kill my liver enough and antibiotics i won't stay on for a long period of time. try starting all this before you start cycle to see better results.

you can get acnesil at acnesil.com. its the best lotion. it works great and it is good for your skin. it has tea tree oil in it and it won't dry out your skin.

the main thing is to make sure you do this EVERYDAY, don't get lazy. hope that helps some of you.

when i did research nothing i read helped me with the problem. i wen to a doctor and nothing he said or did helped. thats the first i ever heard of food and hygene not having ANYTHING to with breakinh out. and after many of years from suffering from acne i don't agree with that either. (not that i'm a doctor). you say what i said won't work, well i'm telling you it did for me. like i said the doc could not even help me so i decided to help myself. after i started this my acne went away during the MIDDLE OF A HEAVY CYCLE. i do not have dry skin cause the acnesil i use takes care of that. just curious do you suffer from acne and if so how did you get rid of yours?

It sucks ass to have the body you want and be too embarassed to take off your shirt because your acne is so bad. I know because I have been dealing with it for some time. I had tried every otc remedy available and nothing worked. I went to the doc and he put me on doxycycline and clindimycin. This worked for a while. But your body builds up immunities to antibiotics. I was on the doxy for over a year. After a while it didn't work any more. Plus, who wants to be on a tetracycline for that long? Anyway, I went of the doxy because I was going to Mexico and you can't be on it if you are going to be in the sun. After 10 days in Mexico (laying around in the sun every day) my skin looked better than it had in 5 or 6 years. Now I'm just using tanning beds and the clindimycin and everything is holding up fine.

Accutane works, there is no question about that, but if your acne isn't terrible I wouldn't advise it. Not worth the risks and sides.

A good anti e stops my acne, bro. I used to get it real bad on my chest and back, then I started running .5mg l-dex ed, and I dont even get a pimple. Running aromasin this cycle, and skin is clear as a bell. B5, panothenic acid, helps a good bit for some also.

i see your point, and if i came across as a dick i apologize. i take 2 showers maily cause thats when i like to apply the lotion. i don't like applying shit to my skin unless i'm clean! i should have made that clearer.

      edvedr bro,

i'm just like you as far as acne is concern. I always 'use' to break out crazy UNTIL i found that product: NATURE's CURE
They're homeopathic tabs in blisters along with a spray lotion. and guess what the best thing about it is? Its legal and you can found it at walgreens. I tried it all from accutane -Roche & IP- (which i don't advise to anyone, bad side effects from it, very bad), pantothenic (sp) acid in major dosages to all sorts of cream...i mean, i tried it all!!! Frankly bro, nothing worked as good as the nature's cure. It is truely a great product and now i'm 95% acne free when juicing...

Doc put me on accutane which worked for me while i was on but i would never stay with the routine of monthly blood work and such so he put me on minocycline, PanOxyl AQ10, and Differin. Works out well for me.

Accutane is most definitely a prescription only medication. In fact, it is usually considered as a “last ditch” type medication that a doctor will only prescribe when all other means of treating acne fail.

For all you people with acne troubles, have you tried a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor (proscar).
I get absolutely no acne while running it at 1.25mg ED.
