TweetObviously IGF-1 is lower than normal, especially for age group per the test.
Sounded like you just gave blood.
I have done one of these test, and it was my understanding the only way to test this was to do an intravenous arginine drip to determine a baseline level, which without you have nothing to compare too. Beleive this is due to fact when it is released in blood stream it is a pulse type thing that doesn't last that long.
So a regular blood test would not be accurate.
I did this for a several month gh cycle. After baseline got blood test done every 2 months.
IMHO, I'd get retested.
Have no idea how igf-1 effects igf-1 levels only long term gh.
