TweetI don't use the stuff. Thyroid affecting compounds scare me.
TweetBros.....Im into my 2nd week of Cynomel and have broken out w/ a fucking rash all over my body. Just did some research and found that this is a common side effect to T3 meds. Has anybody here got a rash from using T3 before? If so...did you stop using T3 or keep going? Also...how long did it take for the rash to go away? I went to the dermatologist today (i didnt mention the T3 usage...so he had no clue and gave me a steroid cream to use).

TweetA rash from Cynomel is usually a sign of an allergic reaction. Is the rash bothersome to you? What is the name of the topical steroid your physician gave you?

Tweetmckenzie......the rash doesnt hurt or anything, but i definetely could go w/out it! mostly just really small red dots on the top of my thighs, abs, ribs & chest areas. the only area that itches are slightly larger raised bumps on my knuckles and elbows. He prescribed me....Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP, 0.1% twice daily. I read on on one site that this is one of the side effects of T3 that doesnt have to be brought to the Drs immediate attention unless it is bothersome. I suppose it will go away once I stop....now is just a bad time especially since I added the Clen in this week.
TweetAre you sure its the T3? could it be something else maybe....(and I'm sure he asked you this) have you come in contact with something diff or new soaps, detergents, creams, foods, plants/yard work, any new exposures, etc.? Have you found the triamcinolone cream effective? I'm sure it will subside once the T3 is discontinued....hopefully.
Sorry for all the questions....I have a horrible headache and I'm not feelin so hot today.

TweetNever heard that about T3 and it's certainly never happened to me. Hope it works out for you.
Tweetjust do a search for Cytomel (cynomel) side effects. there are many sites out there and the all list skin rash as a side.
however....i am hoping that this may be a heat rash. i ddi 45 minutes of cardio and got very hot...that is when this started. i doubled my dose up to 50 (2 pills) of T3 today and the rash didnt seem to get worse.
