yeah I saw that when I looked it up last night. Number 3 is in Michigan too! I wonder if it has something to do with the layoffs.

no question!! poverty! flint has been falling apart for years. it's truly a toilet. i think flint would be #1. but it's practicly empty. going through flint is like entering the twillight zone!! miles of new concrete/highways and NO traffic! a buddy of mine just baught 306 houses in flint that are repo's for .20 on the APPRAISED value!! he financed them for .40 on the dollar, opened a property management company and is renting them out for 350-500 a month...the average cost per house...13k!...detroit...it's always been a toilet. people are so broke, they cant even afford beer or smokes, let alone the drugs they used to use to escape their reality!! they'll rob anything moving!

I tell you what, I dont miss that crap. ATL never made the top of the list, but it was bad. You know it's bad when women shoot people from road rage. Here, we don't have much crime and I like it.

I live about 45 minutes from Camden, NJ, which was in the top 5. The difference is, Atlanta has some nice neighborhoods. Camden has 0 nice neighborhoods. When you go to Camden, you enter the city seeing crap, drive through the city seeing crap, and leave the city seeing crap. There isn't 1 nice section. I believe the actual city of Detroit is the same way. I'm not talking suburbs of Detroit, I'm talking the actual city. My sister in law lives in Lansing, and she told me for the Super Bowl, they replaced all the broken windows in the city, took all the homeless people off the streets, and fixed the town up. As soon as the super Bowl was over, and all the tourists left town, they put all the broken windows back, released all the homeless, etc... LOL! I loved it.
