TweetI haven't tried this routine but did I win the car?
Tweeti been using west side bar bell.. best routine out there beside DC imo
TweetI have. I have the book, I can't remeber which one it is though (I think it's Big Beyond Belief). I did it and did not like it. I have very slow recupe times. I was overtraining in no time on that program. The two best programs that have ever worked for me are low volume (1 set technique like Dorian did) and higher volume with 8-9 days rest. I found that when I trained with high volume and rested 8-9 days between same muscle workouts I did really well on most muscle. Key word being most. Some muscle will recover quicker. However, the best for me is low volume with high intensity. If I think I'm over doing it, I will lessen the intensity, if I'm under doing a muscle I will raise intensity or add a little more.
TweetI tried it, liked it, and am back doing it again..
Didnt I put that up for you??
I posted that for someone the other day.

TweetWouldn't working long without letting your body recover have adverse effects? I thought I read somewhere that after like 1 hr of working out your body is past it's peak point of gaining muscle & also that people that work out multiple days in a row have less gains than those that get adequate rest?
Correct me if I'm wrong here...............
TweetWell, the way the program is designed you would do bench one day and incline the next. Put I'm with you, it's still pecs and I personally wasn't able to recover from it. As far as the 1 hour thing, that's more about two things. First, your cortisol releases start to really climb after an hour of intense weight lifting. Second, testosterone releases about 10-15 minutes into weight lifting and peaks at 45 minutes. Theretically, after 60 minutes your test levels are starting to release quite a bit less. However, the gear user wont suffer from the second one while 'on'.Originally Posted by DJDIGGLER
