TweetMy company, in the 11 yrs i've been here, has never closed due to snow. Tuesday morning a reminder notice goes out across the company regarding an emergency phone number to call if/when we ever do close, Said the message would be posted by 6:30 am. So, wed morning i did not go to the gym as, if we are open, i like to get an early start. Up at 5:30 did some work and called at 6:35 am to receive a message that we are open. Get on the road about 7am, after my wife called me stupid several times, and get half way there when i find out we're closed as of 7am
WTF - you post a note the day before saying a message would be posted at 6:30 if we are closed...then at 7am you close.....somebody F'd up

TweetSounds like my company owner. We had snow a few weeks ago. Called the night before, said we would be closed on Monday. Went about doing things I could do on Monday. About 11:30, I get a phone call wanting to know where I was and why I was not at work. Reninded him about our conversation on Sunday evening. He says he doesn't remember me calling him and doesn't remember our conversation.
To top it all off, I called his son, he said he had had the same conversation with him on Sunday night and had received a call wanting to know where he was. Go figure
Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!
Take nothing I say as serious, What do I know, I sell water!!

TweetWe had snow a couple months ago. I had an employee I was wanting to fire. The roads were fine, but I texted her and said "Roads are horrible, stay home"...she was offended, but got the hint and never came back to work for me..LOL...thats one way to get rid of a bad employee
Tweetwow, we get 25 metre of snow and we dont even close schools
lucky bastards
three doodoo is back! Hide your women!
TweetI'm supposed to work in the event of any emergency and I'll be damned if I can make it 75 miles in a hurricane and or flooding to come to work. J.R.
TweetSounds like the owner was tipping his elbow back quite a few times that night.
Tweetthe county i worked for did that also i never called i had the key to the building i just went to work automated systems suck
Tweetthat's what I would've, kinda jokingly, said. Then he might make sure his memory stays a little sharper from then on.
Nothin wrong with tippin 'em back, but when it interfered with work. Then it got in the way.
Also, even if he wasn't tippin 'em back. I bet he wouldn't play that "I don't recall that" card again for sake of looking, and sounding, like a dumb ass.
pshht...Calling you trying to act all "where the hell you at?" like it's on you.
TweetWeather doesn't effect my commute to work any more... I just walk downstairs.
