TweetAre you purposing that because McCain would consider reinstating the draft we should resort to voting for Obama.
“We’ll ensure that economic justice [I would think letting people keep what the earn is economic justice? but to Obama taking from those who earn and giving to those who didn't is justice? That is way phucking backwards.] is served…That’s what this election is about.”
-Barack Obama
"They call this the Ownership Society [Capitalism - he often refers to it as deregulation and tries to associate it with Bush and McCain], but what it really means is - you're on your own."
"I certainly don’t fault Senator McCain for these problems, but I do fault the economic philosophy he subscribes to."[referring to deregulation] - Obama
"..an inadequate regulatory system was partly responsible for the crisis." [Thus, from Obama's perspective, more government authority and regulation is the answer and that is what is ultimately responsible for our economic crisis.] - Obama
The man from his own words had an affinity for his communist professors and stated that Frank Marshall Davis (a card carrying communist) had a decisive influence in his life.
So now taken in context; McCain has admitted he would consider the draft [McCain is a pragmatist - that doesn't surprise me] but how do statist countries act are they opposed to the draft? Obama is as pro-statist as you get, he does not believe in self-ownership he believes the state owns the citizens - do you think he is opposed to the draft.
If you fear McCain do not resort to Obama - go third party.
