Tweeti would just call and ask. there is no way to tell if it is covered unless you read your policy closely. even then alot of the verbage is hard to understand.
TweetOk, My homeowners insurance paid for my fence and roof when we got pounded with hail. Now, I have a new problem, that is even worse. The trees around my house have completely clogged up my Septic System. I know insurance pays for things like a leaking dishwasher ruining your floors and cabinets. Would they also pay for my Septic tank???? It has to be completely dug out with a new leach field installed. The whole shebang! Its going to cost thousands of dollars to have it done...I want to find out if it should be covered before I call my agent and attempt to make a claim. Thanks!!!!

TweetI have a feeling they won't cover this but I am not an insurance person. I would call and ask and put the claim in.

TweetI would call to check.
Putting too many claims in with the insurance company can also be an issue as i learned from experience. I had put two claims in within a 3 year period. After the second claim was covered, the insurance company dropped me. I had a real hard time trying to get alternative insurance as i was now considered "high risk". At that time and in order to get insurance, I had to become part of a high risk pool and put into what they called here in NJ the NJUA (NJ Underwriters Assoc). My premiums sky rocketed. Took me two years without putting in any claims to get out.
Just something to ask your agent as well.
