TweetWill steroids show up in a common drug test? The company uses the drug test where you pee in a cup and they stick a little stick in the cup and if it goes to a certain color it shows drugs in your system. Thanks in advance.

TweetThis question comes up a lot. MY OPINTION is: If this is part of pre-employment screening, steroids are not part of it. Steroid testing is not included on the DOT minimum substance test. Regular random testing after employment, nope not here either. But on the form I signed for employment, it does not do not spell-out nor limit what can be tested for, only to say illegal substances. If someone is under suspicion (gains 20 pounds in a couple of months, talks steroids at the work place, or the boss just wants to phuck with somebody) someone MIGHT tested for steroids. It does cost more $$$ to test for steroids. That is the ONLY thing in your favor. Someone using steroids would best be served by keeping low key at work (no flexing at work, keep acne in check, manage your temper, no talk of juice, etc.). Just my two cents, your mileage may vary.
