  • Let's talk about: Infinity

I was thinking about this last night.

Infinity is something that I just can't seem to wrap my head around. I mean.. the definition is basically "never ending". But doesn't everything have an end?

Take the universe for example.. they say outer space is infinate. But I mean...c'mon it can't go on forever. MAybe it's just really..really..REALLY big? But then I get to thinking...if the universe does have boundries...what happens when you hit them? And what's on the otherside of that boundary? Can nothing go on forever?

My brain is starting to hurt again...

DrtyJrzyGuy: Infinity is one concept that's hard to comprehend. But also consider it's opposite.. Nothing. Is it really possible for there to be "Nothing here?" I mean... here is here...I'm here.... so if the universe doesn't go on for infinity, what's past it? Nothing? But the simple fact that "there" exists makes the statement "nothing there" invalid.

Good thing I'm not smokeing anything... I'd be sitting here thinking about this for the next 3 hours!

That is some crazy stuuf to think agout GG. I sometimes thinks about things like that but i get too far into depth and start to scare myself. It is probably cause i am studying Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics. I could sit for hours trying to contemplate the universa and its boundries if any, and/or what if there were no universe?...would it be just a black hole??...probably not, so what would it be then?...Nothing?...Well what does nothing look like?...UGH, so damn confusing.

well, in my opinion nothing is nothing, nothing is that space between the end of somethign and teh bbegining of somethign else, accept that the space isn't there because it si nothing, at all, it does not exist. I know whatI am thinking, just can't express it god damn it. ask me again nexdt time i smoke some trees

well if nothing is between end of something and the beginning of something else what does it look like? and how would we know that it does not exist if we do not exist??
