Tweetits a larrivee... smaller builder.. not been around but maybe 30 years..... very good quality, but lesser known so you can get a whole lot of guitar for the money.
was only 850$ solid wood construction... rosewood back and sides.
a martin of equivilent specs would be about 1300$

i have been told to be careful on buying a new martin as the sound quality is not as consistant..
i have been told to look into collings... out of austin..
larrivee are pretty nice too.
