Anyone know how to seal an ampule?

Hello,
I bought a bunch of ampules so that when I go out of town I don't have to carry a huge stash of steroids. I'm having trouble sealing them however. They are 1mL ampules and I've tried holding a flame throughout the stem but it doesn't seem to affect anything. Any help would be seriously appreciated since I'm going out of town this weekend!

Hell no, these are not for sale. I had no choice but to buy them in large amount because they are apparently quite cheap on an individual basis.

That was the procedure I read about, but it doesn't seem to be working. Maybe I'm impatient, but I would assume that 30 seconds under the flame of a lighter would produce some sort of deformation of softening in the glass, but none occurred.

Maybe I need a hotter flame...

you need a blow torch bro......

if you have a good torch they will melt in about 40 sec.
plus you need a peice kevlar to round the edge by hand.

They use a special mold in the labs.....it comes down from above and spins the vial till its round at the top.
