Need medical opinions???

TweetJust wondered if anyone has had this problem or know what this could be. I noticed on the front of both my shoulders there is a spot on each side the size of a large piece of chewed up gum (and is shaped like that) that turn black like a bruise immediately after finishing a set when I'm working out. It slowly goes away, then after I'm done working out it's almost completely gone. Does anyone know what this is?

TweetThe chewed up gum part no, unless it is a blood vessel. Also you have tiny blood veins that burst and bruise your skin. Mine does it about middle of cycle when I m real tight and having good pumps. I believe you will be o.k., if it gets worse then go to the doc.

TweetYou got me?? Only thing i can think of is varicose veins, but ive never seen them on the shoulders, only legs. Iam baffled.

TweetYeah just to clarify, I mean the black spots are about the size and shape of a piece of chewed up gum. It's not a straight line bruise, or a circular bruise. And they go away about a minute after I finish a set.

and for the record I'm not on anything (roids, or NO2 type products) so I know its not something I'm taking.

TweetTotally sounds like a blood vessel to me, especially since it goes away after working out. If that's not what it is, sounds like a mystery! If you find out, let us know!

TweetIf you have insurance, id go to the doc's and have it checked out. It does kind of sound like a vascular situation, but just to be on the safe side you know

TweetYeah I wish I had insurance. Its a catch 22! If I go to the doctor and find out it's something I'll be denied insurance for the rest of my life. If I don't go and it's something serious I'll regret not going. Totally sucks. It's times like this I wished I lived in Canada!
