TweetDepends on how it was sent. If they sent it registered with signature required, then they'd need a signature.Originally posted by bigp106

I doubt any source would send a package with a signature required. You should've known how he ships before you ordered though.
TweetHe said that he asked all of the carriers and they requier a sig. I thought Fed Ex, or ups would just drop at door.
Tweetif it req. a sig. they will not leave it
TweetThen how do I go and pick it up. Its suppose to be sent special delevery from China. I e-mailed him ( sorce ) and said I didnt want sig. He special delivery requires it. He's oreintal and is not very clear on his shipping ( ie. Fed _ ex Or ups ) ???????
TweetFrom what I believe and have heard if its USPS overseas no matter what a signature is required. I have heard stories where overseas sources have checked the no signature required option but it did not make a difference. The recipient still has to sign. Sucks Huh
Tweeti also have found this to be true..........take the slip and your ID to the PO and just pick it upOriginally posted by AceDaBoss

I've received packs from overseas (non-controlled stuff) numerous times and have NEVER had to sign ANYTHING.
TweetI have ordered several packages from chinaman and they all require signatures unless he places it in an envelope. A few times I was not home and they left a slip at my door and I went to the post office with my id and signed for it. Once the box was already opened but he did a good job masking the stuff.
Tweetall the packages i received from overseas require signatures
TweetWhat if no ones there ? Where does it go. If it was fed-ex or ups does it go to the post office or does it go back to there place????
TweetIt all depends on how it was sent. I've had overseas packages sitting on my front porch for days without knowing it. I've had overseas A4-sized envelope in my mailbox with no signature required. Plain air-mail normally won't require a signature. But for international postal service, if a package is sent via trackable means (eg, express, special delivery), it may require a signature (so the post office in the originating country has evidence showing they've been delivered, on-time if sent express, in case the sender inquires). Don't know about Fedex/UPS/DHL since they're a pain in the ass when it comes to international (custom service fees, etc).
