2 cups whole milk
2 scoops vanilla muscle milk
6 ice cubes

Blend till smooth
TweetAlways conflicting info out there on just about everything. Guess it comes down to what "you" feel works best. I just read yet another article on no post work out carbs in your drink? Just a good isolate drink only. Thoughts? I always do whey and a fruit in my shake

TweetNow that is a PW shake!!!!
Tweet100'g whey isolate for me and between 50-100 g carbs has always worked for myself
Tweetdepends on one's goals. if one is looking to maximize fat loss then i would go with all the carbs for the day structured around training ie..... pre intra and post. i would also eliminate sugar for that approach as much as possible. if i were in the realm of gaining i would try to spike my insulin pre and post as well. so again i would go for carbs pre as well as post.... that's what has work for decades lol. also you have to take into account everyone responds much differently to carbs. so it isnt completely a one size fits all situation

TweetMy body is a carb machine. I always take in carbs pre and post workout. My blood sugar drops if I slip on my carb intake. Like guns said though, I think it really depends on the person. Some guys I've trained with follow the idea of zero carbs post workout. Definitely not something I can do.
Tweeti just do 20 grams of whey. no carbs. i used to but i found i felt better when i stopped
TweetPersonally I have found intra and post workout the optimal times to include as much carbs as your digestion/daily macronutrient intake allows for
Tweetadd pre and you have a winning stack imho
