I use Optimum Nutrition (Chocolate Mint). It's CHEAP (12.00 for 2 lbs, 25.00 for 5 lbs on BulkNutrition.com), and mixes extremely well in a shaker :) Not too thick at all.

Another thing you could try, if you don't already... After you've finished cooking the eggs, fill the pot back up with EXTREMELY cold water and let them sit for a couple of minutes. This will help...
