coming soon to SaltWrap: legal version of cannabis oil
You've probably seen it in the news headlines.

Cannabis oil.
Hemp oil.
CBD.
Medical marijuana.

While they are not all exactly the same compounds, they all come from the same plant.

I'd like to clear up some confusion about cannabis oil (aka Hemp Oil).
And discuss what hemp oil can do for you (and how to get your hands on a quality source... legally).

First - we should clear up some definitions.

"Marijuana" refers to a form of the cannabis plant (Cannabis sativa, usually) that has been cultivated to have high levels of THC --- the compound that creates the "high" and is psychoactive.

"Hemp" typically refers to a form of the cannabis plant that has been cultivated to have LOW THC levels. So when you see hemp oil products, they don't contain any substances that would get you high. Or make you fail a drug test.

But THC isn't the only active substance in the cannabis plant.

Both marijuana AND agricultural (legal) hemp have high levels of a compound called Cannabidiol (aka CBD).

CBD has been studied in more depth than even THC. With some amazing benefits - including pain relief, neurological protection, stress relief and more (here's a good reference if you are interested in learning about all the benefits of CBD: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/317221.php).

So why all the controversy?

Because both the LEGAL version (hemp) and the ILLEGAL version (marijuana) come from the same plant.

The legality lies in how much THC the plant contains.

And, the law is pretty clear. Marijuana is illegal, agricultural hemp is legal.

Agricultural hemp is quite a useful plant.
Its strong, fibrous body makes it perfect for making fabrics, purses, clothing, and even paper.

And it's a healthy food.

Agricultural hemp provides a perfect balance of Omega-3, Omega-6 and GLA fatty acids. It also has the ideal 3:1 ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3’s, making it a smart option for those who want to supplement their diet with healthy fats.

A couple years ago, when all the research started popping up showing the benefits of supplementing with CBD (and the fact that it is completely safe), I started looking for a source.

Turns out, it is almost impossible to find a reputable source of CBD.

Most "hemp oil" or "CBD" products being sold on the market are nothing more than kitchen varieties of hemp oil.

Not much different than olive oil...

In order to get the benefits of CBD, you have to be certain that the hemp oil has been DISTILLED and processed to extract high amounts of CBD.

Otherwise it's just a healthy oil. Not worth paying top dollar for.

Until recently, I had no luck in sourcing a high-CBD hemp oil product. I wanted badly to offer it for sale on SaltWrap.com. But I had to be sure that it was a pure, quality form of hemp with certified levels of CBD.

This is what I've been working on for the past few months...

I've finally found a manufacturer of hemp oil that we can trust.
They not only distill and bottle the hemp oil.. they are intimately involved with the farming process.

This allows us to ensure quality at every step of the supply chain.

And, they've agreed to use a third party lab testing company to ensure every batch has consistent amounts of CBD.

If this interests you, I highly recommend reading more about CBD in the link above. There are a lot of great benefits to CBD, but you should do your own research.

And... keep your eye out for a new item I've been working on.

I'm very excited to FINALLY offer this to you.

P.S.

I am NOT a conspiracy theorist... BUT.. I can't deny that something funky is going on with this plant. It's been used for thousands of years for its health properties. And is documented safe...
