What characteristics of insulin would be desirable to you?
All I have read about insulin is good when it comes to increasing size and nutrients supplied to skeletal muscle. Whats desirable to me would be an increase in size and a fullness in my muscles. I have seen pics of 4 week cycles and I can tell there is a definite anabolic effect

Ugh. If you mean using post workout insulin it is one thing, if for anabolic purposes, that's another...
Thats what I was thinking PWO for an anabolic state.
ive onl used humalog...you will put some serious weight on with it if your diet is right.....i havent used it for 5-6 years...went hypo one time scared me

Not eat, drink carbs in accordance with how much insulin you've taken. Should be whey protein, high glycemic carbs sugar/dextrose and NO FAT. Fat delay gastric emptying and should not be taken with fast acting insulin.Quote:

Types of slin
Humalog (rapid acting)
begins working in 5 to 15 minutes, active for 3 to 4 hours
Humulin R (short acting)
begins working in 30 minutes, active about 5 to 8 hours
NPH Insulin (intermediate acting)
begins working in 1 to 3 hours, active 16 to 24 hours
Insulin Detemir/ Levemir (long acting)
begins working in 1 to 2 hours, active 24 hours

novolin is a name brand insuline its all i have ever used i liked it alot just make sure u do your home work before using it
