NOT HERE EXACTLY...BUT IM OUT ON JOB SITES PRETTY REGULARLY MAKING SURE MY JOBS ARE BEING BUILT LIKE I DREW THEM :)
Operating engineer here also, along with running a farm.
My husband is a sub-contractor... I guess that's what you call it. He does residential and commercial concrete repair and restoration. He also does polished concrete.
He is currently working on two different renovations: a apartment complex and old theater. I can't wait to see how the theater turns out.
i tear up my house quite often...does that count?
Def not me, i'm not handy and i can barely put my daughters xmas presents together without smashing them.

I'm in the UAW but i told my wife about this question in regards to being handy and she started laughing saying "did you tell them i have to hang the pictures up on the wall"....she gives me no latitude bro's.

I've been In the union for a while now in lead abatement .I just got done with a job at a nuclear plant, some cool shit in there.They searched me and my car every day I entered the premesis.Also they dropped lots of piss tests, sometimes twice a day.Their on to that rapid detox stuff that has a 5 hr window frame.
Well I worked construction for 10yrs -started as a Carpenter and made then switched to field engineering as a foreman. Left that behind- land surveyed for 2yrs and then became a Chemical Plant Operator- I still issue permits to constructions- never forgot where I came from
