Derek Lunsford Wins

Looks like we have a new Mr. Olympia. I figured it would come back down to Hadi and Derek. I could have honestly seen it go either way. I've seen so much controversy over the decision. I thought each of them had their stronger poses over the other. Derek nailed the back shots. His back double bicep was insane.

Congrats to Derek. He just seems like an all around nice guy. Hadi seemed to have a bit of a tantrum taking his medal off and walking off the stage. I didn't think that was very professional.

samson wasnt to awful bad in 3d, pretty sure curry was in 4th andrew jacked in 5th and hunter in 6th. dont hold me to that but i am pretty sure that's how it went down. samson is a monster but it is so hard to beat hadi and lunsford because they look massive in their own right, flow very very well and have such small waists. samson still needs to bring up his legs and back being so freaking tall.

i am glad lunsford won. he is an awesome dude for sure very humble and graceful to say the least.

i just pulled up the prejudging pics that they put up on saturday and showed them to the mrs who has been in this game for 20 years. i already thought lunsford had it but i asked her, who is the winner you think? she said the white dude right there haha. she said yep and he is in the middle so........... i told her they move them around a lot and she shook her head and said nope, he is going to win.

LOL She sure got it right.

Derek was the clear winner for sure. I've been a fan of his and was pulling for him to win this year. He seems like genuine good person. About as humble as he can be. It sucks there has been so much controversy over it the past week. I heard Hadi's fans were leaving terrible comments on Derek's IG resulting in it temporarily being shut down. People get crazy sometimes.

I actually watched it live on the ppv. I'll see if I can find a link with some clips and pictures.

Top 5 were:

Derek Lunsford
Hadi Choopin
Samson Dauda
Brand Curry
Andrew Jacked

Hunter was 6th. After watching prejudging and then finals on Saturday, thought the placings were fair. Samson was an absolute monster. Derek and Hadi both looked great, but Derek just brought his best. I'm not sure what the overall scores were for those two, but I could see it being close.
