Thats a good idea. I would like to try that.
i would love to do it as well but it is expensive as hell. we have a couple locally that cater to bodybuilders as well as healthy eating and a meal with my macros is around 15-16 bucks. so not budget friendly for me at all. the wife uses them but she is half the cost and only uses it for a meal or 2 a day while at work. i am pretty sure that jolt here uses one of the ones from tv here
It’s really expensive.
I’ve used hello fresh and at first they were really good but portions got smaller and food was coming in rotten and missing and I got tired of emailing for them to fix it. We cancelled.
My wife is currently using another food service but it’s kind of the same few meals recycled every 2-3 weeks with just different pasta or proteins and they deliver on fridays which is weird.
As far as like “bodybuilding/fitness” meal services depending on were you live I HIGHLY recommend looking for smaller local service company’s. The food is usually better and the prices are competitive.
There’s a local company that makes great food and it’s not terribly priced. I can pick 2 days week for delivery or I can go to the store which is 10 minutes away and pick the food up. They have paleo, keto, vegan and other options. You can also do custom meals or just order meat/protein by the lbs.
Unfortunately they are local so I can’t recommend them to anyone who doesn’t live here. In my current situation I can’t afford to do any meal services but back when I could I loved using them. They have breakfast, lunch, dinner, deserts, pancakes, waffles, muffins, keto, paleo and everything in between.
I found that I pretty much enjoyed every meal that made other then the egg meals (I’m assuming they used powdered eggs and the military ruined that for me lol)
But anyway I’m rambling, look for local smaller companies, you tend to get better deals and higher quality.

Jolter, we got the intro offer form hello fresh.
Good quality, decent portion size but minimum of 2x more expensive than if I just go to the store myself and buy it.
I mean, with every single restaruant in america now delivering and doing carry out cuz of covid, is this any cheaper or better in the long run than just ordering yourself some grilled fish and green beans from Cracker Barrel? Of course, I give a tip to the person so that factors in to the cost.
We got enough recipes from hello fresh we just buy what we need and make it ourselves. They kept repeating the same menu got old fast.
Eat, pound, sleep...
I was thinking about trying Hello Fresh. Then I think about the cost, and that I really do have the time to do this myself. Need some fire under my ass to get this thing going
My wife was telling me that a couple times when the chicken they sent thawed out it had holes. She contacted them and took off 20%. She said the happended about three times. We always have boneless skin less in the tank so she just replaced it.
We call our giant chrome refrigerator the

My favorite meal is Cracker Barrel grilled trout, collard greens, spinach, broccoli & green beans. I get out of the gym and call them and its ready in 10 minutes. I think I could eat it every day but it is probably more expensive than the meal services you guys are talking about here. I think it costs around $15. Im guessing these meal services are about half that?
This thread makes me very hungry
Humana delivered me 10 meals. That was only because I has surgery
Its hard not to order the hash brown casserole from cracker barrel . with a bottle of ketchup
I want to start getting meal delivery for our family . What I really need to do is have Fuzo do the shopping and buy a bunch of food, then I'll do the prepping. In fact if the whole fam gets in the kitchen and preps, how great would that be? Team work makes the dream work
if he fires up bodybuilder style eating it will become a necessity. no way you can get by without prepping food at least a day or so in advance. well i guess you could do each meal individually but you would be in the kitchen pretty much all day long haha. big old rice cooker full of rice first thing in the am, fire the grill up at the same time and cook a bunch of veges on the weekend. done and done
