- Nopal: A cactus extract that is packed full of antioxidants and amino acids.
- Chitosan: An ingredient that can be sourced from a species of fungus (opuntia ficus-indica) or extracted from the shells of crabs and certain other marine-living crustaceans. The first option is probably the most powerful, but the second is the most common.
