hell no, i would have a heart attack. did it in high school when injured but as a part of my recovery no way. i will try damn near anything though but i have no fond memories of this approach

In the winter I will shower then turn the hot water off. It comes out about 42-43 degrees when it is really cold out. I can only stand it for a minute or two.

Lol ! Yeah me too, with the cold shower. So basically your peripheral blood vessels constrict to direct warm flow to the heart. I need to read up on that as therapy.

I've never done it, but that's awesome she lasted 12 minutes! I don't know if I would last 12 seconds lol. May have to give it a try after one of my brutal leg, or back days and see.

only soaking your lower body isnt that bad(well it isnt as bad) i hurt my neck in high school and had to submerge my entire body up to my chin. the trainers had to hold me in the tub for every duration. i told them i would play hurt to not go through that again

I did a cryo tank once at -200 degrees and I couldnt hang. I yelled for the girl to turn it off after 90 seconds. I paid for 10 visits and never went back LOL
