One of the worst sports deaths ever. Unbelievable

So sad! I was watching the Probowl when I heard the news

I feel for his wife,other sisters and loved ones. Tough time for them all.

Everyone is sad but there still are 7 other people who died and not hearing much about them

There were 3 very young girls on that flight with their parents as well as Gigi's high school basketball coach

This reminds a lot of the princess diana and jfk jr deaths. The chopper pilot should have not been flying in that fog. Even the LA cops grounded their choppers. Should have never happened

Thinking back on all the recent celebrity deaths, none of them are as sad as Kobe dying like that with his young daughter. Thats what makes this one worse & more tragic than any that I can remember. Not sure we've ever seen anything this sad happen to a famous person.

Very sad to hear. Prayers for his family and the families of everyone on that chopper. .
