What are you doling New Years Eve?

I am always in bed by 10:30. Every year I have to go out and act like a grumpy old man and tell the knuckle head children a few doors down to stop shooting fireworks.
Almost got in a fist fight with their dad a few years ago when I found several bottle rockets on my roof in a pile of dead leaves and pine needles. He did not understand that it could have set my house on fire with us in it. I left before I wrecked him. Now I video them doing it and call the police. I think they got a citation last year. $250 fine.

Anyway, we will probably watch a movie, I will drink some good scotch then perhaps Jippy will get lucky and be asleep by 11:30.

Ya'll have big plans? Parties? Traditions?

I guess I will watch this idiot Steve H *****s's new years eve party on TV. NYE just aint the same without Dick Clark lol

Im scheduled to work straight through the holidays. Newyears eve and new years day. 3-11 shift.. At least its only 8hrs i guess.. Haha

Working. Fun stuff, eh? :)

WE might go out but will probably cook up good munchies, watch a movie and pass out before midnight!

had to do the same thing myself jipped. people are freaking morons plus fireworks in my state are illegal and i will ask them once not to shoot them over my house, then i threaten, and finally if i cant reason with them i call the law. in my old house i had to call on the same people over and over again. all they did was fine them but i am surprised they really didnt burn my house down with all the crap they were shooting that landed on our roof.

i will be in bed by 9 at the latest. i am pretty sure my kid goes back to school on the 2d

Guns, I got up on my roof yesterday and tried to get my leaf blower running to blow off the pine needles and leaves. The primer bulb popped spraying me with gas. I went to the hardware store and they had all of them but mine. Oh well it is raining today, the needles and leaves will be moist on my roof so no fires from dumb asses.

I also hooked up both of my 50' hoses together and got my high pressure nozzle thing on it. I think I can douse their backyard if I aim it right and there is no wind. They shoot fireworks I may spray their asses.
