My roku box went out. They last me about 2 years. I have bought 3 in the last 6 years or so. I am going with amazon fire stick. The + with the fire stick is it can be fixed to use kodi and other aps like this. We will see.

i have both. the fire stick is hacked.. got all the good apps on it. shouldnt cost you more than 75 bucks new and 25 to reboot it every so often.
now i have been looking at theworldsbestbox.com it aint cheap but may pay for itself. they of all places where selling at the home and garden show.. lol
Make sure you get the 4K firestick. The regular one has 1/2 the memory and would buffer. I saved the $$$ and got the cheap one. Ended up having to get the 4k anyway and gave away the regular stick.
I did kodi with "passion lead us here" all in one. It worked well 95% of the time.
I got the 4kk
Oh yeah kinobox is cool. Make sure you install vpn on it through android apps
This is chinese to me. Whats a firestick and whats a roku?
They are streaming devices to get netflix or hulu as well as others on the tv. Smart tv has this built in the menu
i need something that will stream the goddam ESPN+ app with ufc being solely broadcast on there. tried streaming thru my older google chromecast and it buffered like crazy. bought new state if the art router at ESPN customer service recommendation and after that didn't improve it, i bought new modem. that also didn't fix it. i bought a new Smart tv as my two year old samsung smart tv didn't have the updated capability to stream from my phone to the tv. that worked until the last ppv. i watched college football all afternoon and streamed it through my phone to the tv by hitting the tv stream icon on the espn app. once i bought the ppv and tried to stream it it wouldn't work, no longer showed the tv stream icon, only the apple air drop icon. i am ready to buy the roku but i hear it won't stream from your iphone to the tv, and same with the firestick. almost ready to buy the new ggogle chromecast and try that. uncle dana fucked us all on taking the boatload of money from espn for exclusive ppv rights. can't even purchase it to broadcast on tv like the old days, have to subscribe to espn+ and buy the ppv and stream it from your phone or tablet to your tv. yeah thanks for screwing all the 25 plus year loyl mma fans who made the ufc what it is today Dana ya money grubbing fucker.
bigdawg, firestick 4K is what I use for the espn + app. it works well. Just takes about 5 seconds to render in high def then it runs smooth. we have a pretty fast router and a good signal which is needed.
DW, I use IP vanish for my VPN. works well and is fast enough to keep up with most streams on kodi.
