I am not a fan of Obama for sure. They all spied. Bush started it.
I used to think republicans were for smaller gov. But under the Trump admin our deficit has increased at a rate higher than Obama. I have lost faith in conservatives.
$22,686,616,515,355.41The USA deficit. It disgusts me, while our elected officials bicker and fight one another and make sure who can use which bathroom we keep digging a hole. Meanwhile China is buying up gold to supplant the US dollar as the monetary standard. This will exacerbate our unfathomable deficit. I say fire every one of those bastards and start new. They could care less about us as long as they stay on office.
Bacuase of Obama, I got fined $2,000 a year for not having health insurance. Hows that allowed in a free country?
Yeah that is some BS right there. It was an attempt at socialized medicine. It was a total failure. You think some guy or gal busting their hump working hard to pay their rent and has never been sick or needed hospitalization should be forced to spend a lot of $$$ on insurance they do not need.......TO HELP SUBSIDIZE IT FOR THOSE THAT DO? (whether they had bad luck or made bad choices it is not my responsibility to pay for your health care)
I do not know why this is so hard. If people want gov health care so bad, let them go to health departments and equip them to see patients. BUT.....like Canada you will have to wait you turn which may take a long time.
A friend of mine that I worked with for many years grew up in Canada. She had a wrist that caused her some pain. She could not get in for an MRI for months. So her folks took her to the USA and paid for an MRI here as they could get right in.
That is an example of socialized medicine. (Of course there is a flip side, for a person who gets some horrible disease and gets care for nothing out of packet. But their taxes are higher for it.)
Here are some stats for you. USA has 37 MRI machines per million people. They are wide spread and easy to get into. Canada has less than 10 per million people which are normally clustered near or in urban areas. Granted Canada has large areas of undeveloped land and if you live there it is probably a long trip to get groceries too.
Anyway, you can see the disparity in access. almost 4 times as many in the USA for fast diagnosis.
