Even tho I get sore after certain workouts, What I do is give it, that body part , about 2 days of rest before I hit it again.
But I try not to go too heavy , just enough to get blood into that muscle.
It actually feels good to exercise a sore muscle. To me it feels as if the recovery is more immediate :thumb:

Agree Torres, a light day 2-3 days after going hard will alleviate a lot of soreness. I assume but flushing the muscle of the LA. I try to run 1 mile and do 40-50 air squats the day after heavy squats when I know i am going to be wrecked sore. The blood flow for 10-12 minutes of light running really helps over times when I do not.
