Who lives without TV?

My cable box went out and has been broke for oever a week. I have had ZERO TV for a week. You dont realize how much you rely on tv to keep from being bored. lol
I know a guy who is considered by everyone a genius, the top guy in the world in his field of business. This dude and his family have NEVER owned a tv. His kids are now in college and they are all geniuses too just like their dad. The only time his kids have ever seen TV is at their friends house. Is that mean? Child abuse? lol I often think of that guy when my TV goes out lol

i could live without it if i had internet. i spend more time on the net then i do watching tv

We have internet high speed but no cable at new place. So we stream. Satellite avaiable but.... nah

been about 5 years with internet service only. been great for me but we are all snowflakes so ya know.

i love my tv and internet esp since i am now retired and only tinker around. while i was still on active duty not so much. i spent the majority of my time reading and doing stuff for work during my free time. tie the reading and work along with training i rarely had time for tv.

I could live without tv and internet, if I had too. No tv would be easier to adjust too though.

I like watching tv , especially Animal Planet , Discovery Channel , those types of things for my son .
Plus all those conspiracy things I like watching .
And there’s a channel that shows all Mobster type things which I like as well .

I did that with my daughter 11... my son almost 6, dam tablet took over. Need to make him put it away more often.

i absolutely dispise technology. i think it is ruining our society across the board. i remember when as we are talking about they used to say tv rots your brain and makes you stupid. we fuck now no one even looks up from their phones or tablets while they are awake

rode bikes and pretty much anything and everything that can be done outdoors. not coming in until it got dark. even video games were a rarity growing up for me

When I was a kid I watched cartoons right after school for 30 minutes as that was all there was and then Saturday morning if I did not have baseball or soccer. I grew up to watch sports and some TV but only a couple hours a week. We have netflix and hulu. I do not miss cable.

I couldnt care lesss about anything on TV except the NFL Network. I can do without every channel, but I cant do without football. Im going nuts not being able to watch the pre draft stuff on NFLN. I have to get my info on the radio. It better be fixed in time for the draft on Thursday or heads will roll at Comcast LOL

i love it all man. boxing football hell i even watch the short track nascar races. i am a sport fanatic for the most part. i do like some shows documentaries and movies as well though.
