What's the most you spent on a meal?
Wife's birthday last night we went to a 5 star joint in a swanky part of town. My wife has been talking about going there so we dressed up a little I took her. We did not get appetizers, and I had one beer and she had an iced tea. She went for the steak and crab and I had the seabass. There were no prices on the menu so I figured $40-45 a plate. And we shared a desert.
NOPE! $185 left a $30 tips as the service was spot on and the food was A........MAZ.......ING!!!!!!!!! One strange thing, they brought bread out first with incredible soft butter, we had a piece or two and they took our napkins and gave use fresh ones before the entrees came out. Same with after our meal but before desert. Is this normal?
Not the most I have paid mind you. Del Frisco's double eagle steakhouse was the most. Over $200 but we had a bar tab on top so that was $50.

How much was it.
What did you get for your $$$.
Was it worth it.

Damn Bro , for my Birthday last year I went to this Restaurant in the Casino, famous for its steaks , I came out $500 poorer !!!
But I had an awesome Time !!!

prolly around 100 bucks per person is the most ive personally spent.. long time ago and it was a steak house, cant for the life of me remember the name..
now one day we where walking by some french place and reading the menu... walked in as for the prices and dude said " if we have to ask for the price we prolly couldnt afford it ". yup.. i didnt eat there. i think i was in vegas then

i have dropped over a grand in places over seas in europe before. that was back in my younger much more stupid days where i made a ton of money. when i was 18-20 i was in a place where i made a god awful amount of money and we used to do that on a weekly basis. was it worth it? not really in hindsite. i just wanted to be a high roller and big shot.
now most recently i went to dinner with jose raymond and a couple of his clients in boston ma. they were drinking wine that was 300 bucks per bottle and the steaks were much more than i would be willing to pay for. they covered the check and that was the most expensive place i have been to in a long time

guns, $300 bottle of wine is a lot. I have had a glass of $500 scotch. it was good but I have had $100 bottle scotch that seemed to me just as good. It is all subjective.

hell yeah man. i would rather have a good one that's a fraction of the cost. 10lbs of steak that is good for 100 bucks or 3oz for 250. i will take the good steak all day long. if only i wouldnt have been so young and stupid. i even had custom made italian suits and a couple silk suits made during that period in my life. i wasted so much money it is sad.

Most expensive was last year went to the Edge at the four seasons resort downtown denver. Spent about $250 for 2 with no alcohol. They brought raw meat to the table and we cooked it on a hot rock. It was worth it cuz this chick was so damn sexy I didnt care how much it cost lol Best night ever

I have a friend who spends sick amounts of money on wine. He has a wine cellar in his house and spending $500- $1,000 for a bottle of wine is common for him. Biggest waste of money on earth imo. I dont care how fancy it is, it all comes down to one molecule, ethyl alcohol, and it alll tastes like SHIT. Booze is booze imo , whether its $5 or $500, its all poison and tastes horrible

When it comes to going out to dinner drinks play a big part in the tab. take out drinks and bill is drastically lower.

not everyone has our sickness dude. I have a every 3 yrs booty call from this wonderful girl for past 20 yrs. I took her v card way back and she is unbelievably successful and beautiful. She is a CFO now. 6 figures. she still comes to me to hook up every few yrs or so, she has been my friend longer than anyone else in my life. she can't not have a project. she brews wine. good wine, but she not only makes it, she deserves it. I will never preach don't drink to anyone, but I will acknowledge it can seriously fuck a life up.

took the wife out last year for her birthday and spent 200.00 for dinner for her and me. had a couple drinks etc.. food as great.. would i do it again hell yes made her happy...

i would rather do that for the mrs than spend it on food. i would rather have good food and a further bad ass gift than excellent food that's way over priced and no extra goodies. that's just my mindset haha

You guys make me feel cheap. The most I have spent on a meal with the wife would be about $150 I dont even remember where it was. I am getting ready to buy her a house and its funny how every house she shows me the cost creeps up 10k the budget is 100k higher than when we started looking.

About $200 for me on one meal. My wife likes to try different nice places around town once every few months, so we'll put some money aside here and there go splurge every once in awhile. We went to this really nice steak place couple weeks ago. Two great steaks, a couple drinks and a dessert came out to be about $200. Wasn't too bad and the steaks were pretty damn good.
