I took dandelion for a short period but my allergies didn't like it
interesting. I knew it was a weak diuretic (maybe the root) Do you eat the flower too?
A guy down the street eats the leaves and cultivates them in his yard. The neighbors hate him as they always have to spray and he threatens to sue if the spray gets on his yard.
He is a weirdo.
The root and leaves have some different benefits. I keep both root and leave tea on hand. The root tea is a bit stronger in taste. They have helped for eleminating water and crap,lol. If you have ragweed allergies,you may not be able to tolerate it. Sometimes it bothers me and sometimes it doesnt. It is good though. I have used a few brands but prefer Traditional medicinals tea the best. Crank up the water in take if you use dandelion. Gaia Herbs makes a good dandelion root extract
We used to have to go out and use a dandelion digger and throw them in the trash. Instead of throwing them away, rinse off the leaves & put ranch dressing and have a salad
