Woke up this morning to the sound of gun shots. I grabbed my pistol and looked around. What I thought were gun shots were frozen trees cracking. It looked like a frozen wonderland. Everything glistening and all white. Upon further looking around it looked as if a bomb exploded. Downed power poles and trees. At my rental a whole tree (not small but a 70' monster) snapped off talink a pole, wires and weather head down. I have been running all day to get stuff done.
Damn that's crazy bro. Sounds like it's pretty damn cold in your neck of the woods.
It usuall doesn't get this cold. This is a freak storm. Most of the time in winter it never get below 40 but most of the time about 60
i absolutely hate the cold
got hit with a nor'easter last night. my corolla is an ox for getting me home safe last night. it wasn't easy but nothing worth doing is.
Ugh, that sounds horrible. Luckily we do not have ice here often. My old jeep was great in it but now my little turbo car with summer tires will spin and go no where.
If you are house bound, there are worse things than that for sure.

Damn, that sucks. Those storms will wreak havoc. We have now had more snow already than we had all last winter. Its snowing about every week now. And cold as hell. I want to go to the gym tonight but if the roads are a sheet of ice then fuggit, im stayin home and do 20 sets of pushups
I have a simple home gym in my basement. It has most all I need
its an eerie feeling when outside its silent except for all the trees falling around you.. don't forget the hour it takes to bust your car out of the solid inch of ice its been incased in .. good times.. not
When my drive ices good I am not going anywhere, It just won't go.
