The time of year for sweets and treats

Thanksgiving is around the corner. What is your favorite desert or treat?

I have a thing for white chocolate macadamia nut cookies and a gal at work makes this zucchini bread with raisins that is the best! Yep humble zuc bread, you would not think it but it is life changing.

My momma makes 3 pies for Thanksgiving. Chocolate, pecan and coconut. They are all good but the coconut is other worldly good. She normally bakes two of them. One for the family and one for me to take home. I eat it in two sittings and feel horrible both times.

So what do you like to splurge on this time of year? (If you say chicken breast and plain sweet potato I will have Baby ban you)

Other than turkey, my favorite Thanksgiving dish is green bean casserole. We always make extra because I usually have one to myself. For dessert it's my Mom's homemade apple pie. Can't beat it.

Stuffing...I dont even care if its stove top brand, I love that shit, and drown it in gravy and eat piles of it until I can hardly walk. Then I finish it off with a Village inn triple berry pie buried in a gallon of whipped cream

sweet potato casserole and pecan pie. coconut pies are always good but my first to are staples around the holidays. i am also an egg nog junkie even though it absolutely destroys my stomach. i should add in the disclaimer that i love everything sweet and bad

I am with ya guns, except for the egg nog. Had a bad experience with some expired nog and cannot even see it without gagging.

oh the pie haha. the marshmellows melted on top of the casserole is the best. i love some sweet potatoes and even when dieting i will put a little cinnamon and a dash of splenda for a somewhat similar effect. the walden farms marshmellow dip is good on there as well. only downside is god only knows what those chemicals are doing in our bodies haha

I love itall. I love to bake these treats up and give them to people. Also enjoy eating them too. I enjoy this season and Thanksgiving evem more than Xmas
