scar tissue is just scare tissue imo
yes it will interfere with growth and can set you up for injury. watch videos on graston and soft tissue manipulation work and the docs talking about it. coolest thing i saw as a presentation on how a bound up bundle of scar tissue moves and how a smooth proper muscle tissue moves. it's crazy the difference no to mention it lessens circulation nerve function and firing. so hell yeah scar tissue can jack up your gains

i have scar tissue and i have been using a kitchen roller. its made a difference for me believe it or not.

yeah I can't even mess with my left cheek anymore. Has so much scare tissue its ridiculous. My wife has been nice enough to massage the areas nightly and it's starting to make a huge difference for me.
Definitely a lot of scar tissue for me as well, especially in the muscles I hit most. I've hit my quads pretty heavy, which may be why it's harder for me to get my quads to fire on leg day.

i know. i have never been much of a getting massages guy. Spoiler alert I dont go tanning either. Just like when I bust something up I skip the doc prescribed PT and reach for the pain meds for a few weeks instead and continue on with life. Sticking with the kitchen roller is pretty ambitious on my part. I am just happy i am getting something out of it so my muscles will not be growth blocked by adhesions. If my ultrasound wand didnt break id probably try that.Quote:
