I buy the butterball turkey burgers at sams and cook them on George Foreman. These things are a mainstay of my cutting diet. I hate to say what I put on them lol

Man I love turkey burgers. I get on a turkey kick every once in a while making turkey everything lol.
whenever i am going to cook something that normally requires ground beef i am able to sub it with ground turkey and it tastes great and better yet i feel better too.
tired those a few months back and they were damn good so we buy them
Never tried them, but after this thread I gonna have to
I have togive those a try now, Dzone. I am not usually a fan of turkey burgers but maybe I would like them? thanks!
I have tried them, beef just tastes so much better and the texture is WAY better. I do ground chicken or turkey from time to time but have it ground at the butcher.
Another option is to season then pound a chicken breast flat, george foreman it and consume it the same way. That way you get a whole food and not mechanically separated and glued together turkey meat stuff.
Here is the thing, I have had my opinions changed as I worked for the health department for 16 years. Ground turkey was a big player in ecoli illness (60% of random samples taken were contaminated according to CR) . These were samples of ground turkey in the styrofoam pack not burgers. I checked and butterball frozen turkey burgers have a great record so maybe I will give them a try. thanks
