What kind of "diet" do u follow?
Because of a health scare I had a few months back, I had to really look at my diet and the amount of food I was eating and what type of food I was eating.
I now follow a lower carb and lower fat diet now. My cholesterol was through the roof before this (mostly genetics) but has came down to the lower 100's. I eat very low fats through the day, but my dinner has a more liberal amount to keep me full and from snacking.
How bout everybody else?

So glad to hear your numbers are normalizing. What a scare for you! I really try to stick to a more 30/40/30 ...with the protein being the 40%. The majority of carb intake, during the day with a complex low calorie carb at dinner. No carbs after dinner and if I snack it is a good fat and protien combo

Def a good plan! I have very few if any carbs after dinner. Just a protein shake, and every other day, I'll have one tootsie pop lol

i actually was able to improve my lipid profile when i increased my fat intake and added cardio in. i also eliminated all sugars from my diet for 2 months before my next test. now other factors come into play with me because of some of the supps i use at different times of the year. so my profile is spot on most of the year and trash at other times. i am able to keep it in a reasonable trash with some things though.
as for currently i am eating like a mad man. low end protein medium carbs and medium fat. i have the ratio broken down but dont remember it off the top of my head right now

I've had to switch to low protein. I get about 80-100g a day tops. The nephrologist said i could raise my carbs and fat to replace the missing calories, well that didnt work. I got fatter and was hungry all the time. So I switched to Keto. On a typical day i get 80g pro 30g carb and 240g fat I feel like a million bucks. I do miss my carbs but keto is the only way i can eat low protein but stay full and satisfied. I also use Intermittent Fasting. I have felt this good in a while.

I have inherited high cholesterol too. I eat pretty bare bones I guess, everything is fresh, real and prepared. I don't eat out of a can or anything loaded with preservatives... except today,.. I making a pizza and having a Dr. Pepper. ; )

My cholesterol is high too, on meds for it. Ive read keto can help that but have also heard it hurts so im either safe or screwed any way i diet.

Im eating clean pretty much all the time now. I dont eat red meat cuz of prostate cancer in my family. I eat a lot of turkey burgers, chiicken breasts, whey and salads. My lipid profile is optimal. Low chol/trigl and Low Blood pressure

Lots of ground turkey for me as well. Had to give up the red meat too

I forgot that I eat loads of pistachios, macadamia and pine nuts. I throw a handful into every salad I eat. Oh and sunflower seeds I eat like they are going out of style

i eat what i want. I try to limit refines sugars and processed meats. If I am trying to cut I do Keto

Less Calorie food, no alcohol, no soda/cold drinks, no special menu this month. Pure vegetarian for the next 23 days.
