What time of day do you workout?
So I just landed a new job, so far in loving it. My biggest complaint so far is the hours. They are actually sweet, 0800-4:30 mon-fri.. not bad. But I really wish it was 9-5.
I want to workout in the morning before work with weights and cardio. But getting to the gym, lifting, cardio, shower getting ready and eating and making it to work on time isn't going to really work. But I don't get home till 5, so that means if I go right after work I'm going when 70% of the populations foes. So that means I'm probably going to be working out from about 8 or 9 till whenever I'm done or the place closes lol.
That brings me to another point, can I eat carbs after a workout that late, Right before bed?

I have a dear friend that owned some high end gyms in South Florida and he always advised me to workout at 2pm. I asked what the science was regarding 2pm and he said "no science, but that's when the strippers come in to train. So, I always try to make it 2pm! Sofargone561- Carbs late add weight. I love this occassional dietary move!

I've always worked out out night because of my work schedule. I have an hour to an hour and a half commute each way and then usually work 10 hour days. Typical week day for me is to leave about 7am, get to work around 8:30am. Leave work around 7:00pm, get to the gym about 8:30pm, workout and then get home about 10pm. It can be pretty brutal sometimes. I'm seriously thinking of trying to get up around 5am and workout in the morning. Then I'd be able to come straight home from work. Kinda sucks either way lol.

i can train pretty much whenever and wherever i want to. in the summer i try to get in earlier am and the rest of the year it is late morning early afternoon

weekend normally 10-11 and week after i get off at 5ish

The best time for me would be roughly 6pm after work but unfortunately that's the most packed time to go around here so that's passing me off lik

7-9 am everyday for me give or take 15 minutes.

you are still consistent and maintain what you got though 6. most cant do that and arent disciplined enough to do so
