Jonny candito posted a video when he got 100,000 subscribers. He decided to squat 100,000lbs. That comes to 444 reps with 225. He didnt leave the squat rack until he finished it all. I think it took him like 4 hours, maybe 5 i dont remember. He also had to eat like 100 chicken mcnuggets in the process.
Did i mentiom he only ways 180. Try that one.
Holy shit guns, just curious man. Do you have a rough idea where your bench squat and deadlift are? You sound like a monster.
for bench idk i rarely go over 315 to 375 but i rep it, so i would guess i can probably still get around 500 if i really wanted or needed to.
deads i rep 500 still so i would say i can get over between 6-700 and my squat is about the same. i havent done singles in a very very long time but about 6 months or so back i was doing sets of 6 with 500 for deads. i would have to go back and look but i think it was something dumb like 6 or more sets. i am way to heavy to be competitive as a power lifter when i am able to move big numbers and in all honesty i do not think my joints would hold up very long training to hit the numbers you guys do. off the top of my head and probably 15 years ago the last meet i did i went 9 for 9 and i hit 500 on the bench 715 on deads and squatted 700. that was at a body weight of 265 and i only did one meet and completely transitioned over to body building. hell the only reason i even tried the meet was one of my training partners was big time into power lifting and going for a world record bench before he had a surgery done to fix his legs. he never hit the record and i am pretty sure after numerous surgeries where they messed him up bad he doesnt even lift any more
Those are some very impressive numbers man. wow. As a bodybuilder, what kind of rep ranges do you work in? Do you always stay kind of within a certain range, 8-12? Or through different phases do you change the range, to hit kind of like hypertrophy, strength, and power? or is it just like always hypertrophy? Also, how much do you weigh now?
And i'm really sorry to hear about your friend, that's just awful. I couldn't even imagine.
