Just finished this book. Not bad! What we see now is not our 1st conflict with muslims.

It was pretty interesting. I heard of the Barbary wars but never really new what it was about. It was our first war after gaining independence from the British and it what brought us to build our navy.
Also one of the first places the Marines really earned their reputation.
Thanks whitetail I just placed a order for the book can't wait to read it. It's funny in school I hated history when I turned 30 I stated to love anything to do with American and world history some very interesting things they did not teach even in collage.
