Hey people, so these last few days I was in the ER , found I had a viral infection.
Well after hella test, blood work, EKG's, ultrasounds of my organs and heart, because I had trouble breathin and what I felt like a pain in my heart, I was told that my liver enzymes were elevated because of too much creatine.
Well there were other problems, but that was one of them .
Has any1 heard of this? And I was told to much of the pure creatine is no good.
...brother I'm almost 100% positive they are talking about creatinine not CREATINE. The byproduct creatinine is what they test in numerous medical tests for disturbances in your body. This byproduct can be seen in tests for simple things like dehydration or extreme things like major medical issues.
you have creatine and the other one that looks similar that is spelled differently. the supplemental one has been shown time and time again to be 100% safe and not even toxic in high doses. now as for the other one, it can be a sign that your kidneys arent functioning properly and that muscle tissues are breaking down and not being expelled properly. it is called something but i cant remember what it is off the top of my head. docs are stupid when it comes to supplements man. get you some good cycle support, tudca and make sure you are consuming plenty of water. that should bring your liver values back in check. also you didnt mention anything about bp, heart palps or anything like that. so many things that could be causing issues

And I did get some good liver cleanser.
And my BP was alittle high not much and after the ECO test for my heart , all normal !!!
Torres you creatinine levels will rise if you are taking in to much protien brother. Im assuming your not dehydrated so it's going to be protein. My mothers a nurse and wife is a pharmacist so I know a little. Mine is usually elevated a bit but never in the bad zone. Guns is right about the kidneys protien in your urine called ketones is a bad thing watch your protien im not sure how much your taking.
i had a scare one time torres when i was around 30. i was getting sharp chest pains that were shooting into my arm and it hurt to breath in. so i took my big happy butt to the doc all freaked out. low and behold after all the tests it was gas and indigestion. freaked me out big timeQuote:

Bun and creatinine are kidney function tests(levels). Liver enzymes can be elevated for several reasons being fatty liver, toxins, alcohol, meds and supps or from other health issues. Those function tests can also be high from dehydration. So many variables but it could be from the other issues you said you have too. the cranberry juice, lemon water and and liquids in general are good to flush things. A cleanses her and there is ok but those can be overdone and cause damage as they take away some of the good things we need along with the toxins. Even things such as, the steamroom, sauna, and what many of us have said before...epsom salt baths, rid toxins out of our bodies. Make sure you rinse your body off after doing any of the three and drink lots of water following those as well.
I didn't look at the replies before I answered this but I see we all basically said the same thing.
Do you know if your CPK/CK levels were checked? this is also usually a test that is run when their is chest pain.
As far as too much protein intake, different docs say different things. I had part of my kidney removed 5 years ago and I ask the Urologist about the intake of my protein and affect on my kidneys. He told me not worry but it is always important to hydrate properly for best health. Also do not take lots of anti inflammatories whether it be NSAIDs or advil, motrin etc
Ive had that same pee thing after a vicious bought with diarrhea. You where definitely severely dehydrated
did they ask anything about if you were on gear or not?

WEll it is not abnormal to be higher in athletes or people that train hard. It is a body inflammation marker and yes in the muscles as well as the heart. Ck(creatine kinase) this is probably what he was referring to if he did say creatine. fuzos is always quite high and the doc isn't concerned but I don't always trust docs and think he is way to inflamed to much. Hopefully you are going back for a follow up and all will be recheckedQuote:

Man I had the same thing going on during my last big cycle. I blamed it on the tren e. I was pissing protein, kidneys were fucked up, liver enzymes were high and BP was through the roof. My doctor told me no protein and no carbs! Fat only!! Pure ketogenic diet. I said f that and just stopped the cycle, cleaned up my diet and now drink over 2 gallons of water a day. I also got mad cleansers. Damage control, Tudca powder, saw palmetto, aloe Vera juice, apple cider vinegar, detox tea. I still feel pain on my kidneys some times but everything is back in check.......well idk if I'm still pissing protein, never got rechecked.Quote:
