For those who have served in the army.
So i am interested in anyones storys they have when they did a tour or whatever you call it. So for instance, i was talking to my mechanic and he served in the canadian army, and i was like you ever see people die and hes like yah. I was like how? He said: youd be surprised how many die of getting run over by the hummer cause they have to drive 80khms or some shit for tactical purposes i dunno if its ok to post on internet.
He was in the middle east wherever canada helped out at and he said no one cares about there life over there........... Just curious what people have gone through to kill those fucks.
Re: For those who have served in the army.
I was a special forces medic for 12 years and have 5 combat deployments as such. SF medic is the best job in the military get to help people and kill shit heads. My last trip to Afghanistan I was treating war wounded everyday for about 4 months straight. Mostly IED injuries. Thankfully mostly locals and only had to treat 2 American soldiers.

Re: For those who have served in the army.
I wish i knew the stories from my great grandfather, He never spoke of his military service ever.
He received a silver star and purple heart for combat actions in WWII.
Re: For those who have served in the army.
I really regret that I wasnt allowed to. I have/had asthma and some other things that kept me out. They gave me 3 choices I picked infantryman or indirectfire infantryman or calveryscout I think its been a long time.
My grandfather was in the navy in the Korean war and saw alot of crazy stuff. He was on a towing/salvage ship with the pacfic fleet and followed the U.S.S Iowa and aircraft carriers around.
Re: For those who have served in the army.
I served in calvary and infantry units in the army and have seen some things. I did one tour, but I will say that soldiers do die from our own hand. I have seen a fellow solider get run over by a MLRS tank on accident. It's shitty that these things happen, but when you have so much heavy equipment and soldiers running around, it is bound to happen. God bless all that I have served with and fallen and the ones I have served with and still breath.
