I dont know how many close calls I had last year to people not paying attention.

Good post. I have ridden all my life and had many of close calls with idiots.

Yup, you really realize how unaware drivers are when you're on a bike.

i have bumper sticker people drive crazy up in the mtns very stressful place to ride

Very true. I think about it everytime I go out. I lost my best friend 3 yrs ago on one of my old bikes. Be safe guys!

i sold my bike a couple weeks ago. miss it but do not miss the stupid drivers who tailgate while putting on makeup or eating a sandwich, texting or just bad drivers.

i am very sensitive. most of the time there is nothing one can do if they see an idiot tailgating a bike riding my pops in laws's big old POS panhead back from Dallas after he broke his foot he was a car behind me in his truck. (damn bike would only go 60, 65 with a strong tailwind downhill) a car was riding my ass, my father in law drove up and nosed in front of them forcing them back and gave me space.


felt like i could breathe again. I had waved this person back, tapped the brake lights (which may or may not have been working) they just did not get it

All it takes is a sit second. I ride bikes. I have a GSXR1000 and people will look dead at you and pull out. PLEASE LOOK FOR US!

sitting on my bike at a red light when i look to my left and see a grandma texting on her phone...decided to go home after that...yea its that bad

where i live you dont have to just be careful on your bike but anytime you are on the road period. if you dont hesitate at red lights you will most likely ended up t boned. the number of stupid drivers txting and talking on their phones is probably higher than those not doing it. we have accidents here by the dozens every day and i live in the city where the speed limits on the outside dont go above 45. just at the red light by my house we have had two bikers killed and 5 people in cars in the last year.

Fuzo sold his bike a few months ago and I am quite glad. WE still live in a state that has no helmet law too and that makes it even scarier.

When I have a bike in front of me, I follow even further away then I do if it is a car
