The gym that I go to is expanding and bought the unit next door. It's good in a way since we'll be getting new equipment and attracting new members but on the other hand all the hurly burly of demolition and construction around the people who train is very distracting. The women's locker was moved right next to the men's:) and observing the look on their faces the ladies' seem uncomfortable with the whole setup. Sorry for ranting,lol.
I hear ya bro! My gym closed for 3 days for renovations..I had to make due with pushups, I also made my girlfriend lay down on the floor, so I could use her for upright rows :D

just went threw the same thig but the a hole uped the price on membership from 29.22to49.99 i canceled my contract and went else were
