15 months after my break up, my new girlfriend is moving in July 1rst
WOW!!
Back in 2011 when my fiancee at that time and I split up, some of you may remember, I was a complete mess.
FIST spent a lot of time with me during the initial months helping me stay alive and sane, and I will never ever forget that!!!
It has been VERY challenging to carry on my life without her, and deep deep down, I wish her and I were to meet and see what could be done to mend things. We ended for all the wrongs reasons, wrong time in my life for a relationship of that caliber, when I had two big businesses to get off the ground, and much of my time was exclusively for the business and not too much for home/fun life.
Now two years later, and two full grown overly successfull businesses, she is not there by my side to enjoy them.
So in the mean time, i dated, broke many hearts last year...but finally met somebody real special. Tomorrow she and I will be together for 4 months.
I am so crazy for her, she makes my sometimes crusty life so easy...and she has gone to hell and back for me a couple of times.
Lets face it, the life of a bodybuilder isint always fun and easy.
So long story short, she is moving in with me next weekend. This is A HUGE step for myself, and for her. because even though I do want somebody in my life, I ALSO KNOW THAT I WANT AND NEED TIME ALONE and I don't always want to be accountable.
What makes me so nervous and what breaks my heart into small pieces is that, IF Lynn came back into the picture.....that my current girlfriend would have to leave my life.
It destroys me to know this fact, but this is how my heart and emotions are placed.
No matter how intense my feelings for my girlfriend may be, Lynn is always there as the number 1.
That's fcked up big time!!!

SHE was the best thing I have ever had, and we both shared a very deep connection.---
I can see that for yourself to completely detach, if you still love her so so much...that it would be so difficult, because you both see each other weekly.
Whenver there is a child involved, YOU and HER will always be in each others life in one way or another.
Speedy recovery bro, this kind of thing is never easy to deal with.

Enjoy your life with your new girlfriend. Don't think about the what ifs? The past is the past and the future holds good things if you want them. I know you say that you would leave yor current girlfriend if your ex came back, but honestly, you never know.

I will offer a bit of advice. I lost my first wife, the absolute love of my life to cancer in 2000. I was totally destroyed, not only by her loss but that of my then 18 year old son blaming me for her loss and saying that he wished it was me who died. Lost my whole family in one fell swoop.
I am now remarried to the absolute love of my life, we have a beautiful 18 month old daughter and I have a new, extended family that means the world to me.
But I remember to never compare the two, they are two separate people with good and bad traits but they are their own individual person. I lost one love to gain another. Lynn seems like she was the one, but maybe she was the one at that time in your life. But she is gone.
Your new girlfriend sounds incredible, but you have to commit to her or you are just filling time and that is fair to neither of you.
If Lynn is the one you want, pursue it. Make every effort you can to find her and either make it work or close the door on that chapter of your life.
You can have two absolute loves of your life, you just can't have them at the same time. It isn't fair, but it is how it is.
My advice, let Lynn go. She may be wonderful but she is moved on and gone. Commit to the new girl, give her 100%. it is the right thing to do in my opinion.

Lay the rules down. No moving the protein around and if you use the last of the toilet paper . Put a new one on the role. Those two things could save a relationship or brake it. Oh and you better start putting the seat down and aim a little better. Chicks hate that shit for some reason.
