It's bad but somebody tell me why
Ok.so I'm on a couple different things all at low doses.. im taking a liver detox daily supp.. im also on creatine 5mg ed. Been on the same stuff and creatine for a few months. About 2 weeks ago on my right side at the side but kind of around the kidney area I started to get this kind of mild burning/throbbing nagging pain.. I upped my liver detox dosage thinking maybe it would help an it did a bit.. I was at work alot very busy for about a week and kept forgetting to take my creatine. It's been a week or so now since no creatine and the pain throbbing sensation is completely gone. I cut my liver detox back to one cap a day and I've had no pain, my urination has returned to normal, my awful stinky gas has pretty much gone... had to be the creatine! Nothing else has changed. I thought it wasn't supposed to be a negative like that? Any input?

Dude get a Blood test and have your kidney functions tested the complete CBC thyroid,AST,ALT,FSH,LH,creatine the whole shebang jusdt to be safe

Bloods would be a good idea , u can even do bloods urself / private . There's a sticky somewhere around here with the info . If u can't find it ask LT . I believe he can help. And the price is very reasonable !!!
I never , ever have heard of creatine doin such things and I'm on creatine. Could be another prob causing such symptoms !!!

Everyone is different. What may not bother some may bother another. Side effects . or none, are a very "general" term. Listen to your body, if something doesn't work and you feel better when its stops, it isn't for you. maybe try a different brand of creatine and see if the same thing happens? The gallbladder is also in that area and this could have just irritated your whole digestive system. many of times it is other ingredients in the supps that bother people and not actually the main thing you are looking to get benefits from. Also, I have never taken creatine but I do believe I remember years ago that when Fuzo took it, he had to make sure he was WELL hydrated. As proper hydration is imperative at all times, its a must when taking creatine.

A lot of things we take suck up a lot of our water and it may not be just the creatine that's messing with your kidney if anything is. But it may be a combination of the creatine along with other things putting a strain on your kidneys over-the-top. I had a similar thing happened to me just a little while ago. I've been taking creatine every day for many years now. I've never had a problem. But a while back I start experiencing violent/ painful ab and hamstring cramps. Me and guns tried everything and everything only worked temporarily. finally I just decided to drop creatine out of my arsenal and it worked. Again I am not saying it was the creatine nor am I scared of creatine. After this competition I will go right back on it. But creatine in combination of everything else I was taking and doing in addition to the fact that I was bulked up and bloated. Get blood test like FUZO said

You could also have kidney stones I've had them and still have some on my right side that only hurt every once in a while no rhyme or reason but I've never passed them

I don't like the Dr's. Lol. If it continued then ya I'd have to go but it's cleared up now so I'm not too concerned. It probably was hydration.. I try to drink lots of water, gatorade but probably don't drink enough..

1-2 gals of water minimum per day man, that is if it is dehydration. keep the creatine out for now and then start trying different brands if you want to go back on with it. i would say you are much better off to just use pure creatine mono. from what i have read all the different ones out now really dont do anything any better than the straight up bare bones basic creatine does
