It depends on what kind of mass your looking to put on. The water retention does help your pump which in the longrun may alter your protein synthesis to cause more of a buildup, but its also true that alot of the size you put on is from muscles taking more water in. SO this means that when you discontinue your gear alot of your gains will flush out in a week or so. If you use nolva while on dbol or test etc, your mass will appear to build up much slower, which is partly true because estrogen does play an important role in the buildup of muscle but the size you do put on will be more relative to what you will keep. Assuming you run a decent cycle of clomid, clen, whatever your pleasure may be. The most important thing is determining what it is your looking to accomplish. Personally the bloated look doesnt suit me well, but there are some good benefits to the water retention factor. Its primarilly much more usefull to hardcore lifters, because the stress on their joints and ligaments is much greater then a novice. I dont lift excessive weights like that, but Ive been told the water retention helps with soreness in joints etc. Talk to you later.
