Bought the Soa Stream today
Soda Stream is a fountain machine for making your own fountain beverages at home. Does anyone else have one? I bought it at Bed Bath & Beyond. It appears to be a popular machine judging from what the store told me and the fact that when I was walking to my car carrying it a guy stopped in his truck to tell me how good it was. He actually had his Co2 cannister and was going to get a new one (refill) at the store. Anyway, I got home and made two bottles, one of soda and one of energy drink. The soda tastes kind of flat, or generic, but the energy drink one is good. It came with 12 different flavor samples so plenty to try. The thing only cost me $99.00. Drink mixes are $5.00 and make the equivalent of 33 twelve ounce cans.

Actually the energy drink is pretty good. It tastes like a generic red bull more than anything else. Try it out, I'd say you'll like it.

we have the soda stream penguin. I like it. Ours doesn't taste flat. You can put as much carbonation as you want. Our CO2 bottle is still in use since Christmas and being used at least every other day if not everyday. I like the diet pink grapefruit and diet raspbery.

I'm gonna add more carbonation next batch. I just made some Lemon-Lime and it tastes pretty good, like a generic sprite.
