Is it not in the ridges on the side, I heard it was suppose to be put there. And of course to get worn off after a couple years.... Boycot them ... Don't accept them and they will have to change them out...
The new one I have it says it on the side.
So it's there. That's a good thing.
That was a huge arguement but it should be on the face of it. I say don't take them and they will stop making them.
Good, it shouldn't say that on it. It's been on coins since the late 1800's but not on paper money until 1957. It's a violation of the Constitution by federally endorsing a deity or a god.
Stray we know your feelings about god and its your right but I dont think its going to change
You're right and I'm not going to get into it here. It would serve no good purpose. However, I also love my country and the freedom of all of and from all religions. The reason it was put on paper money and in the pledge was to combat "godless communism". It's wholly unfair for non theists to be constantly subjected to theism and when we stand up for ourselves to be looked down upon like second hand citizens. It's unconstitutional and morally reprehensible. I'm not saying any more because we know where it leads.
look at it as tradition!!! "subjected to"...aww...my theism hurt you bro?? did i drop it on your toe?? you get a boo boo? i think your a big boy...if it offends you, too bad,,,shyt offends me all the time and i dont run around whinning about the shyt...suck it up soldier...adapt, over come, improvise....you'll be fine
you'll be ok...lets work on getting taxes fixed, gun laws, the ecnomy, the school system, the job market, drug abuse, pot law, and a few other more important things...then we'll discuss the words printed on the money that most the country dont read, ok?:finger:
His post sounds like something off of Big Bang Theory!!! Lmao! You know they found the black hole the other day!
The whole "God" thing goes over like a fart in church with an atheist in every aspect it seems. Especially when it comes to the constitutional aspect. But in reading through our founder's writings, letters, etc...They all believed in a deity without a doubt. I understand the freedom of religion, "separation from church and state", and the interpretation of that statement. There's always been one thing that nerves the shit out of me. And that's a Bible thumper that gets in everyone's face with it. An atheist that blasts from the mountain tops is just as bad though. Because, after all, atheist should be well above that motivation to witness, and especially from being moved to hostility over something so simple as a phrase. You know you're right. What gives? Let the theist be. Hostility. Separation. Those are some of the main traits that ruin a people.
It's a phrase. Take it for what it's worth to you. You are free to do that. If nothing in the world, of the world, in outerspace, whatever. If there's no deity, in fact, to you. Then I can't understand the phrase even bothering you to utterance.
