Re: 789 chrysler dealers....
omg! 789? damn, I heard 12 were closing around here, but that aint shit compared to 789..omg!
Re: 789 chrysler dealers....

Re: 789 chrysler dealers....
Re: 789 chrysler dealers....
This aint good- I thought that stimulous package was supposed to create millions of jobs?????
Re: 789 chrysler dealers....
gm's next. they'll be anouncing bankruptcy by june 1st, then they will whack over 2000 dealers!!!
total job loss, between all dealers, will be just short of 200k people!!! (that dosnt count vendors that do work for dealers)
after the 9th, the NEW car inventory will be sent to the other dealers that are left standing, at a little discount. parts (from the parts dept) will be shipped back to chrysler. used car will be sent to auction or some dealers will hang through the month trying to dump out of them
the way the bank bailout money was supposed to stop this was they (the banks) were SUPPOSED to keep lending money, NOT buy other banks!! tightening their belts fuked us!! they sat on that money and didnt help at all! they fuked us!
Re: 789 chrysler dealers....
yeah, my wife called me into the living room last night during the news to show me that the Chrysler dealer here is closing down. Buzz Leonard Chrysler Jeep. Ole Buzz has been around for at least 35yrs. Buzz sold out to Mr. Spitler several years ago. I've heard people say Buzz Leonard has been around over 50yrs.
The owner of that dealership, Jerry Spitler, has dealerships all up the eastern seaboard, and on inland as well. I know he has a dealership in Michigan. Detroit, I think it is. His son runs that one. They had a statement from him on the news. It was a recording from a phone conversation with the reporter. He was saying that he'll have to close this lot and focus on the rest of his dealerships.

yeah dude, Jerry took it on down here. He was running strong for a few years. Sucks he's got to close shop. The Buzz name that he baught has been an icon in this town for many a decade. Jerry left it Buzz Leonard because of that.
I like Jerry. He seemed to really be good people. He was all business. He worked the hell out of it too.

yep. That was the Chrysler dealership I gave some time to. Jerry, and most, I said most everybody I know in that biz will put a quik fukin on anyone without blinking an eye. That's just the way it is. What we have going on is perfect example of it on large scale. There are so many...ya know, probably every damn dealership, auto-maker, in America does it to themselves. I've seen it from the smaller 25 unit "pre-owned"<--lol, that term...just say used,lol...but from the small used lot to Jerry's Chrysler dealership, I noticed that the left hand hides shyt from the right hand. I'm far from wise about anything and am not claiming to be, but I do know that no business will run to true potential with that bs going on. The right hand must know and understand what the left hand is doing. It seems in my short little life so far, the car biz is the worst about that too. Everybody's workin an angle. And I understand that you have to do that from time to time to shore up where you want, but once allot of those guys figure out, or un-figure it out, that's how they function from then on.
I watched Jerry bs with somone like he wanted to have dinner with them only to drop the axe on that person the very next day. I got along with him. You gotta, or better try to, at least get along with the cat that runs the show. know what I mean. Jerry's got that crooked eye. It's really like our enemies, or just people that you gotta watch, are marked for you through life. There's a good drink-toast about that. I might use it at the reception today as a matter of fact.
