Jeff, this is the quickest way to blow your rotator cuff for good. If it is just sore, and not torn, make sure you do shoulder presses with the lightest weight possible, just to keep them from getting stiff. And do the rotator strengthening movements, sort of like you were practicing arm wrestling, only with a 5 lb db.
